The Toe Jam Spreader is a tool designed to stretch ski boots for length width instep height cuff diameter bunions or the big toe or hallux. It is a patented tool developed in 1995 by Mike Tambling a Certified Master Bootfitter for the bootfitter who wants a tool that is easy to use and doesn't deform the ski boot except for the area being stretched. Toe Jam Spreader width stretcher. A boot stretching tool used to stretch a ski boot for width. TJS Basic Do you have a customer who is complaining that their (or yours for that matter) ski boot is too narrow or they need just a bit more room for their fifth met. The TJS Basic tool is used for stretching for width to get you out of a JAM. The unit has a medial,and lateral die, both approximating the thickness of the foot. The entire tool is made of steel rather than aluminum. Thus the steel will not absorb the heat as fast which means that your boot won't have to be heated as much. The heat you apply doesn't readily get absorbed by the tool.
TJS boot stretcher with Lengthening Beam. An additional tool used in conjunction with the TJS for stretching for length. Do you have a customer that bought a ski boot too short? The The Lengthening Beam will get you out of a Jam. It is used in conjunction with the TJS Basic. Note, the big toe can be stretched independently from the rest of the boot, permitting the operator to provide the customer with just the right modification. Called the Big Hal it will stretch just for the hallux. If the customer has a rigid hallux this die is a must buy.
TJS boot stretcher with Cuff Die. This is the TJS with cuff dies added for stretching the cuff diameter. Great for people with large calfs. Do you have a female customer complaining that the ski boot hurts her calf? By removing the Medial and Lateral die from the TJS Basic and then installing the Cuff Die you can stretch the cuff of a boot. This tool will allow the boot fitter to get just the right fit.
The Ultimate Cuff Stretcher. This a totally new product that is used by itself to stretch a PAIR of ski boots at the same time. The Ultimate Cuff Stretcher is the fastest way to stretch the back of a PAIR of ski boots. Put the boots in place and start cranking the winder and voala the boots now fit that customer that was complaining about the ski boots hurting their calves. It is also a fantastic tool to help realign a customer that is being pushed too far forward because of the forward lean built into the boot. The The Ultimate Cuff Stretcher is a totally new product that is used by itself to stretch a PAIR of ski boots at the same time. The Ultimate Cuff Stretcher is the fastest way to stretch the back of a PAIR of ski boots. The Instep Jack boot stretcher. A shortened version of the TJS with a flat base plate and one cuff die.It stretches the instep height. The Instep Jack is a shortened version of the TJS Basic while using a square base plate and one cuff die. This is the easiest to use tool available for stretching the instep of a ski boot. Oh how you can stop the complaining of those customers that have high insteps.
